about

I'm a senior ML platform engineer at Topaz Labs in Dallas. I work on the systems that schedule, run and bill for GPU inference, and I help the engineers around me do the same.

I studied Computer Science and Engineering at TU Delft, with a minor in finance. My thesis was a reinforcement-learning agent that negotiates by reading its opponent's sequence of offers.

From 2020 to 2022 I was a software engineer at Building Blocks in Tilburg, building the web platform and data-transfer systems behind their data-science products.

I then moved to Pittsburgh for Carnegie Mellon's Master of Software Engineering in Scalable Systems, where I also taught, and spent a summer building serverless backends at Troutwood. I joined Topaz Labs in 2024.

Designed in the spirit of Wim Crouwel and Dutch structuralism, where a visible twelve-column grid decides every position and size. Set in Archivo and Martian Mono.
